About us
We are a Crown Green Bowling Club located in the beautiful Holme Valley. You will find us tucked away between the River Holme and Wood Head Road on the edge of Thongsbridge.
The green
Enjoy a relaxed game of bowls in a friendly setting. Perfect for a casual afternoon with friends or to meet new people in the club. Our beautifully maintained green offers members a surface that is a joy to bowl on. Around the green you will find plenty of benches and shelters for spectating, as well as a spacious patio area in front of the club house.
Club house
In our comfortable club house we have a spacious lounge area with a well stocked bar. And you can always be sure of a warm welcome.
Equipment
The club has a wide range of bowls in all available sizes for members to use, together with all other necessary equipment. You only need a pair of flat soled shoes/trainers and you are good to go!
Teams
We have multiple teams competing in numerous local leagues. With fixtures on a wide range of days and evenings, teams playing to all standards from beginner to experienced bowler, men's and women's leagues and all age ranges - we have a team for you.
